20.07.2012 -- Day 26 by lu--24 20.07.2012 -- Day 26 by lu--24
The shores of North Inlet were as thickly wooded as those of the northern anchorage [...]. Right before us, at the southern end, we saw a wreck of a ship in the last stages of dilapidation. It had been a great vessel of three masts, but had laid so long exposed to the injuries of the weather, that it was hung about with great webs of dripping seaweed, and on the deck of it shore bushes had taken root, and now flourished thick with flowers.

When I first read this passage from R. L. Stevenson's Treasure Island I somewhat found it really easy to imagine it, and I decided I had to draw that awesome landscape someday.

I would't consider this as the piece I wanted to do when I read it for many reasons (template for the drawing of the day is really small, the paper gave bad results, the whole thing didn't come out so good, the ship wreck is hard to be recognised as a ship wreck, and I could go on forever...) but I could consider it a study/sketch for the future painting...
