Alina /character design

Since she was looking for more details than just the looks, I had fun while trying to come up with some interesting background before designing the character, and that's been of help for the design... so here it is.

Alina was born in a northern country (I still haven't decided if she lives in our world or in one really similar, I'll let the choice to the contest-holder), but in her teen years was forced to move and start living in (a country similar to) India.
For that reason, her clothes are similar to what she wore back then, but lighter, that she likes to mix with big silk scarves that she wraps around all the middle section of her body. While her outfits are usually very dark, the scarves are always very colorful. Her eyes are a greysh blue and her hair is light blonde, usually arranged in sloppy braids. She has very light skin and usually gets sunburned or her cheeks turn red due to the hot weather.
Her personality is very similar to her looks, she looks cold and distant most of the time, but she's actually warmer than she looks, even with strangers, and she tends to live in what she calls "creative chaos".
She likes to go hiking and collecting herbs, and dislikes hot/humid weather.
