Celeste

Celeste means both "heavenly" and "light blue"(well, a lighter blue than that, but still...^^) in my language, so I tought it would fit this almost perfectly

As I said in my last journal, I'm not really into drawing angels, but I wanted to try anyway... This challenge was a way to push myself both in a different theme and a different style, and I'm quite happy with it.
The one thing that I'm not sure about is the texture of the paper, it was nice to work on but it was so grained that both photographing and scanning highlighted its grain, and nothing I tried with photoshop could help me removing it without compromising the rest of the drawing. I generally like when the texture of the paper is visible, but this looks a little too much... maybe.
