Description
A more or less quick drawing of an Eurasian Pygmy Owl, the smallest owl in Europe.
It has been a lot since I last used coloured pencils... I used my new ones, and they're really good! And what's better, this time I finally managed to collaborate with the paper's texture, for a better result ^^ (I hope).
It came out rather fluffy, didn't it? I hope you like it! c:

Hi, I´m commenting on behaf of Project Comment tagline. My tag was "feathers" so I chose this drawing where you drawed feathers of an own in very interesting way.
What I like about this drawing is that you captured colours of feathers very well. Also, I like style of feathers, you did very good work with using small lines to create image of feathered body of this owl. I think that it´s good technique for owls and birds that don´t have too many long feathers.
Also, I like owl´s eye, you managed to give it a lot of emotion, I can really feel the owl curiously watching it surroounding. However, I think that it would be good to draw both eyes for this owl. The owl is looking to side, but I think that its eye should be still visible.
Overall expression is good, you used really nice technique for the feathers and the picture of owl looks very realistic and alive.
