Description

For this one I took inspiration from one of my favourite books from my childhood... The Story of a Seagull and the Cat Who Taught Her to Fly, by Luis Sepúlveda.

It's (obviously) the final scene, when Zorba (the cat) watches the little seagull, finally flying in the skies of Hamburg. I'm probably on the verge of crying every time I read it ^^

Anyway... I took a reference photo only for the sketch of St. Michael's bell tower, the colouring was done at the moment. Since I don't have watrecolour screening liquid, and never used it... I had to cover the upper part of the tower and the seagull's shape with scotch tape (: It made its work, though.

It's a bit dark, and maybe Lucky's (Fortunata, in my book's translation) and Zorba's shapes are not so clearly visible, but it's supposed to be raining, so... ^^
